The EcoQuest Game

I love games that show some concern about the environment, don't you? I mean, just look at how the environment is being treated today, the pollution, the people who insist in leaving plastic bags, beer cans, bottles, and garbage everywhere. Then there's another thing that bothers me: the gas prices going up. They never seem to stop rising. I think that someone should do something about it ASAP.
Anyway, if you take the environment thing to the video games department, I don't know about many games that show any concern about all that. It's all the same shooting, killing, "first person shooters", "action games", monsters, alien invasions, car racing, combat, fighting, you name it. There are few games that show real concern about the environment situation, and some os them are the ones in the EcoQuest game series.
The EcoQuest games are educational games created by Sierra Entertainment for children. In these games, players learn about environmental ethics and the importance of keeping the planet clean and healthy for the benefit of people, animals, and the planet itself.
The first ecoquest game was called EcoQuest: The Search for Cetus and it was about a young boy named Adam, 10 years old, who is the son of an ecologist, and who will live an adventure in the company of dolphins, whales and other marine animals. In this game, the players get extra points for cleaning up the ocean and picking up litter. The ecoquest game can be easily found in classic games sites, abandonware games sites, etc.
In the sequel of this game, EcoQuest II: Lost Secret of the Rainforest, the same boy Adam Greene helps the natives of the tropical rainforest to search a cure for a disease they're suffering from, and to save the rainforest itself from destruction.
