Safety At Work Fail

Safety At Work Fail.

Safety tip: When replacing a street lamp, make sure you follow all the safety procedures, this way the insurance company will have no excuse to not pay the life insurance money to your wife widow after you fall and brake your neck.

And if there is friend of yours on a small ladder beneath you, make sure he follows all the safety measures too, because you’ll most likely fall on him and brake his neck too (ever heard of Murphy’s Law?). And you don’t want his wife widow to not be able to collect her insurance money because of a technicality, do you?

Safety Glasses Fail

Safety glasses fail.

When you’re doing dangerous work like soldering or defusing bombs or what this guy in doing in the picture (whatever that is) make sure you have good safety glasses or a protection mask!

Don’t make your own protection mask out of a newspaper page. Its a lot better to use a page from a magazine because its thicker. AND if you choose a celebrity magazine you get to know the latest gossip about Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt. Or even Paris Hilton!

Funny Bear Fight

Funny Bear Fight.

After the polar bear falling picture here is yet another funny picture of bears. This time they are not slipping on ice, but I bet the one on the left is whishing he was. It would be less painful.

Polar Bear Fail

polar_bear_fail

Two comments about this fail picture of a polar bear slipping on ice: 1) I’m glad to see I’m not the only one to slip on ice after leaving the pub; 2) It’s good to see a FAIL picture without the usual “You Fail!” or some other obvious caption like that. Funny picture via PicDescrip.com - “Where a pictures’s worth about 300 characters” (check it out).

Cheap Web Hosting Services

Hostagor - Cheap Web Hosting Services. And now, for something completely different: A post about web hosting. And no, this isn’t being paid by HostGator although their logo is here. It’s here because HostGator has the funniest logo ever seen on a web hosting company!

I do have some blogs using Hostgator’s web hosting service and I don’t have any complaints so far. I like them because they are cheap when compared with other companies. Someone at Web Hosting Rating has already made a comparison between them and other web hosting services and this is one the cheapest.

Other hosting services included in the comparison where Hub Web Hosting, Inmotion Business Hosting, Web Hosting Pad, iPage, Blue Host, Host Monster, JustHost.com, Fat Cow Green Hosting, and Green Geeks. This is all at the homepage of the mentioned web hosting directory, check it out for details.

Anyway, HostGator.com is there on the list with their “unlimited hosting” plan. Plus they also offer $100 in Google Adwords credit for beginners in Adwords, which is great specially because Google Adwords is NOT for beginners, so its good for the users that they can test it without actually spending their money. But this offer is only for people who want to create an Adwords account for the first time.

Web hosting rating also has as interesting article about the hidden costs of cheap web hosting services (specially the costs of the so called “free web hosting” services) and for those who are new at this another article on how to use control panels.

Fail in Sports

fail_sports

I find it fascinating what some people can do in sports with apparently little effort on their part. I also know that things are not as simple as they appear to the naked eye. Take the falls, for instance. You have to know how to fall the right way or you might brake something. Now, I’m not sure if this guy knows how to fall but is doing it anyway. And that’s gotta count for something!

Window Repair Fail

Window Repair Fail.

What will need to fix a broken window on your car: A broken window (if you don’t have one close by, that’s easily fixed with a baseball bat or even a rock), an extra unused window from your old wood shack, lots of cookie dough (important!).

Tip on the cookie dough: wait until your wife decides to make cookies for the church seminar or something. Then when she’s not looking, snick in the kitchen and grab as much cookie dough as you can. Later when she questions you about the missing dough, tell her you saw a little green man caring it to his space ship just before taking off.

How to repair the broken window: 1) Apply the cookie dough to the car door, 2) Press the new window on to the cookie dough and hold that there for a minute or so but be careful not to touch the stuff directly with your fingers or they might get stuck in it (some of that stuff is like cement, at least the cookie dough that my wife makes is), 3) Optionally, take a picture of it and put it online so that other people can laugh learn from you. Obesity Infographic

Infographic about the cost of obesity. Learn what obesity in the United States and Canada is costing per year, and why it costs that much (partially because of the increased need for medical care, combined with the loss of productivity), how much time is loss at work, and even how much additional gallons of gasoline are consumed in the US due to the excess weight of the population.

Rocket Transportation Fail

Rocket Transportation Fail.

When transporting your rockets around always make sure to do it in a way that you don’t drop them by accident. Fail to do so, may result in something so nasty that I can’t even think of a stupid way to describe it (the only thing that comes to mind right now is pork. And being sucked off). And half the planet might also be destroyed in the process…

Fail (But Cheap) Costume

Fail stupid costume.

If you aren’t sure about what costume to wear next Halloween you can always go as “guy in stupid costume who just had sex with a pizza”.  Unfortunately you won’t be the first to have come up with that idea! This guy was first. And I think he nailed it: the costume is cheap, original (no one else has the courage to go out dressed like that), and plus you get to have sex with a pizza…

Teaching America Infographic

Interesting facts about teaching in America in this infographic. Here’s one: American teachers spend on average 1,080 hours teaching each year; and some more: the percentage of women instructors in post-secondary education is 41.6% in the United States, compared to 39% across the OECD (organization for economic cooperation and development), but the percentage of women teaching higher education in Japan is only 17,9%. Funny Football Fail

Funny football fail

I know that if there is one thing that football players are good at is… yes, you’ve guessed it: kicking balls. And some of them are very well skilled when it comes to kicking balls that are in the possession of the adversary. Ok, that’s enough with the balls jokes, lets just enjoy the funny fail. Of course, I know at least one person who didn’t enjoy it… And this was the last joke, I promise.

Pork Ad Fail

Pork Ad Fail - Pork the one you love.

Great ad for all those people who are in love with pork. This is almost as funny as the other ad where Harry Potter knocked up Evan Almighty and even comes close to the funny weelchair signs. But I’m not sure if those ads are for people who love pork. Maybe not. Funny picture via Fail Blog.

Police Car Crashed

Police Car Crashed.

The first rule in the “police hand-book guide for follow-ups on breaking and entering crimes reported via phone calls or any other means” says (or it should) that you always have to make sure there is actually a breaking and entering crime going on at the reported address so that you and your fellow officers don’t look like idiots for responding to prank calls.

One of the best ways to make sure of that and to show the prankers who’s the boss is to break and enter the house yourself with your police car. Who’s laughing now? Picture via Fail King.

Sucked Off Warning

Sucked Off Warning.

As a general rule of safety, your should always keep as far away from platform edges as you can. The consequences involved in not doing so may include physical injuries, death, or worse: getting sucked off. Funny picture via Fail Blog.
