Pimp My Cube is a new contest from Contest Factory for people who have messy cubicles at work. It's easy to enter and the prizes are valued at $1200 and are a new computer system, new desk, chair and decorations, a new high end stereo with espresso machine, etc. This grand prize goes to the winner and there is also another smaller one: a $200 gift card to be given away to a random participant. So, to enter the contest here's what you need to do (easy, easy):

1. Make a fun video showing the world your messy, cluttered, old office or cubicle, and explain why or how it became like that.
2. Visit the site and upload your video to the contest.
3. Invite your friends and coworkers to vote for your video.

That's it. If you win, your cube will be "pimped" with all those prizes! Right now there are not many entries so you have good chances of winning.

Tips to improve your chances (just my 2 cents): use your phone or even your webcam to create the video and give it that "amateur" look that everybody loves. Make it funny and try to make people laugh and feel good while watching it but don't force old jokes in to it. Invite the hottie blonde from the reception desk to enter the video, everybody likes to see a happy good looking female face, this will help "sell" your video. Don't make it too long. Be original.

I'm thinking of entering myself but I can't find my camera… I know It's probably here in the cubicle somewhere, maybe beneath the pile of empty pizza boxes that have been accumulated over time around my desk (I keep forgetting to take them out), or maybe beneath those old software installation CDs and computer parts boxes in the corner from when I arrived at the office 2 years ago (always throw stuff that you're not using to the closest office corner to save space, that's what I always say)…
